Jelynn is a long-time resident of the Radission constituency. Coming from a working class immigrant family, Jelynn has seen how working people have been left behind by the PCs and how cuts have made life harder.
Jelynn believes families in Radisson deserve better health care, more opportunities and a life they can afford. She currently works with Manitobans with disabilities at L'Arche in Transcona. She's actively involved in the community and is ready to get to work for Radisson families in the Legislature.
Jelynn has a background in the student movement. As President of the University of Manitoba Students’ Union, she fought for accessible education, health coverage for students and their families, fair bargaining for faculty, and she helped mobilize the community to save the U-Pass.
