Carla Compton for Tuxedo

 

Carla Compton was elected as the NDP MLA for Tuxedo in 2024.

Carla has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years. Prior to being elected, she was a hemodialysis nurse at St. Boniface Hospital and small business owner. A passionate and knowledgeable advocate for public health care in Manitoba, Carla is proud to be working alongside Wab Kinew and the NDP team to rebuild health care and lower costs for families.

Since childhood, Carla has stepped up to serve on student government in high school, university and a national nursing student organization. In the community, she worked as a lifeguard and as a cross-cultural camp director. Born in Winnipeg and raised across the Prairies, she is proud to be part of a team making Manitoba a place where everyone can thrive.
