Billie Cross was elected as the NDP MLA for Seine River in 2023.

Billie, a former teacher within the Louis Riel School Division, takes immense pride in her Métis heritage. She's a devoted mother to three children and, in partnership with her husband Steve, operates a family-owned butcher shop. Billie has devoted numerous years to volunteer work, particularly coaching and organising youth basketball, underscoring her deep commitment to community betterment. With a dual perspective as an educator and an active community leader, Billie recognizes the crucial role strong public services play in our society.
