Mike Moyes was elected as the NDP MLA for Riel in 2023.

Residing in Riel alongside his wife, Michelle, their two children, and their faithful labrador retriever named Piper, Mike is an active member of the community. Prior to being elected in 2023, he was a teacher at Glenlawn Collegiate and actively participated on the Board of Directors for the Greendell Park Community Centre and the Bishop Grandin Greenway. Additionally, Mike previously served on the board of the Victor Wyatt House Retirement Residence.
