Mike Moroz Nominated as NDP Candidate for River Heights

The Manitoba NDP nominated teacher, Mike Moroz, as a fresh voice to represent the NDP in River Heights.

I know River Heights families want better schools for their kids, better care for seniors and real action to address inequality and reconciliation,” said Moroz. “As a father, a teacher and a life-long community activist, I’m committed to the things River Heights families care about. Real progress will only come from an NDP government led by Wab Kinew, and River Heights needs a voice at that table to create a brighter future for everyone in Manitoba.”

Mike Moroz has been a teacher for over two decades. He’s seen firsthand how PC cuts to classrooms hurt kids. As a resident of River Heights, he was instrumental in organizing the fight against Bill 64 in his home community. As a father and grandfather, he’s committed to working with the NDP team to build a cleaner, more equitable future for families in Manitoba.

“Mike Moroz is ready to fight for a brighter future for River Heights families,” said Wab Kinew. “He’s committed to strengthening public education in Manitoba and helping every child succeed. He’s already hard at work knocking on doors to get ready for the next election. The Manitoba NDP is working hard for families in River Heights and across the province who are ready for a government that cares.”
