Tyler Blashko was elected as the NDP MLA for Lagimodière in 2023.

Tyler is an accomplished educator and community advocate who deeply appreciates the immense potential that the diverse Lagimodière community has to offer. As a graduate of Collège Béliveau, he has built his life in Island Lakes, where he resides with his husband. Prior to being elected in 2023, Tyler was dedicated to his work with high school students, guiding them through their academic journey and assisting in their transition into adulthood. Armed with a Master's degree in Public Administration, he previously held the position of President at the Social Planning Council of Winnipeg.
