Jamie Moses

Jamie is a longtime resident and active community member of St. Vital. Jamie serves on the board of the Glenwood Community Centre and the Glenwood Parent Advisory Council.

He is currently the President of Open Access Resource Centre, a non-profit organization that makes life easier for Manitobans with speech challenges by giving adults and children better access to communication devices. Jamie also served as a public representative on the Council for Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba.

Jamie holds a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness from the University of Manitoba and currently works in leadership at RAPID RTC, a company that helps other businesses expand their digital reach online. He was also a manager at Investors Group until 2018 and worked at the Canadian Wheat Board for 4 years.

Jamie is passionate about sports and about the opportunities for young people they create. After winning three provincial basketball championships in high school, Jamie was given the award for the Manitoba AAAA provincial male athlete of the year. He went on to play several seasons for University of Manitoba Bisons football team.

Jamie has since enjoyed giving back to his community through sport, and he coached high school basketball in Winnipeg for over 10 years. He and his wife Shannon are now raising their two children in the neighbourhood they love. Next time you see Jamie jogging through the streets of St. Vital or visiting the YMCA, please say hello!
