Jennifer was elected to be the NDP MLA for Fort Richmond in 2023.

Jennifer’s a devoted mother, she takes pride in nurturing two young children currently enrolled in the Pembina Trails School Division. Her dedication to community service is evident through her past role as an elected school trustee, where she ardently championed the interests of families and schools. Jennifer has actively contributed to several vital boards, including CancerCare Manitoba, The Newcomer Advisory Committee, Asian Heritage Society, and others. Moreover, she is an acclaimed community advocate, holding a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Manitoba, with a particular focus on seniors and city planning.
