Lisa Naylor was first elected as the NDP MLA for Wolseley in 2019. She served as the official opposition critic for environment and climate change, critic for municipal relations and as deputy caucus chair. She was also appointed an NDP spokesperson for 2SLGBTQ+ issues.
In government, Lisa Naylor has served as Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure since October 2023. In this role she is the minister responsible for Emergency Services Organization. She also served as Minister of Consumer Protection and Government Services from October 2023 to November 2024.
Lisa served as a Winnipeg School Division trustee from 2014-2019 including as Vice Chair and Finance Chair and served as the Area 6 Director for the Manitoba School Board Association in 2018-19.
Lisa’s spent 30 years working in front-line social services and community health, providing counselling to women and girls and delivering programs to increase mental health resilience for youth. In this role she also contributed to the development of provincial mental health policy and served on local and national advisory committees related to teen mental health, eating disorders and violence prevention.
She has lived with her family in Wolseley since 1999.
