Tammy Ivanco grew up in a small coal mining community in BC and was the first member of her family to earn a Phd. She teaches Psychology and Neuroscience courses to undergraduate, graduate, and medical students and has held a position on the University of Manitoba Senate.

Tammy built a house near Deacon’s Corner where she lives with her dogs.

Tammy is passionate about fixing rural healthcare and creating more opportunities and a brighter future for everyone in Manitoba.
