Rural & Northern Broadband

It's never been more important for families to have access to good internet and cell service.  But in rural and northern Manitoba, access to internet and cell service is often slow, spotty, costly and in some cases nonexistent. It makes it harder for kids to do remote learning, for seniors to stay connected, and for businesses to succeed.

The Pallister Conservatives have been ignoring the gaps in broadband connectivity for years. Instead of investing, they supported big tech companies like Bell/MTS. And now they are looking at selling off Manitoba Hydro’s critical broadband infrastructure. It’s time for a different approach.

I’m calling for real investments in rural and northern internet and cell services today
