OUR PARKS ARE NOT FOR SALE
For generations Manitoba's Provincial Parks have given families special spaces to enjoy the natural wonders of our great outdoors. From Folk Fest at Bird's Hill Park, skiing in the Whiteshell, a weekend in a yurt at Paint Lake, canoeing the Manigotagan, or a day at Grand Beach - every Manitoban has a favourite memory from their time at a Provincial Park. Manitoba's provincial parks include areas like the Whiteshell in Treaty 3, a sacred and historical site for the Anishinaabek people.
But all this is at risk with Brian Pallister's plan to sell off our parks to the highest bidder. If Pallister gets his way and privatizes our parks, future generations won't have the same easy access to our lakes and campgrounds that we enjoy today.
Manitoba's parks belong to everyone and we need to fight to protect them.
